PART OF A PARTNERSHIP TO DELIVER BENEFITS FOR OUR COMMUNITIES
We are excited to announce that a partnership agreement has been signed between North Cheshire Community Rail and Elton Parish Council which will result in a new outdoor adult gym being provided for the local community. It will consist of 10 pieces of equipment ranging from a combination chest press & pull-down to a rower. The equipment will be located on ground adjacent to Elton’s Community Centre, and more details will be announced in due course.
The agreement will also see the Community Rail Partnership and the Parish Council working in collaboration with the rail industry, to promote health and wellbeing, reduce social isolation and to support the medium and long term development of public transport and active travel opportunities which are environmentally sustainable.
