We have launched our updated strategy which focuses on ensuring that we can all be proud of our local railways
We’re a non-profit partnership connecting people, places, and opportunities across North Cheshire.
At North Cheshire Community Rail Partnership, we’re proud to connect people, places, and purpose. Our vision — “Everyone Proud of Our Railways” — guides everything we do. We believe the railway isn’t just a means of transport, but a vital part of everyday life that supports community wellbeing, local economies, and sustainable travel.
As a volunteer-led, not-for-profit organisation, our work is deeply rooted in what matters to our communities. We listen, collaborate, and respond to local needs — ensuring our railway stations, services and spaces reflect the pride of the people who use them.
We work closely with the railway industry to secure funding, develop meaningful projects, and share best practice. This collaborative approach allows us to deliver real, lasting benefits across the region.
We’re proud members of the Community Rail Network, joining over 75 community rail partnerships across the UK that share the goal of making rail travel more accessible, inclusive and community-focused.
