Community Rail Development Officer

North Cheshire Community Rail Partnership (NCCRP) is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, organised and self-motivated person, with proven skills and experience, to manage a busy and varied workload promoting and supporting the delivery of our work.

We are a community grassroots organisation, established as a Community Interest Company, that has a vision to ensure that we are all Proud of our Railways because of the contribution that they can make to the places we live, work or visit within North Cheshire, Halton and Warrington.  We are volunteer-led, and our work is driven by community priorities.

We work with the railway industry, which supports us in funding, facilitating projects and helping us to all exchange best practices. Our other key partners include local authorities, other community based organisations, and the University of Chester –  our ambitions are for the group of collaborating partners to grow as we develop our plans for the future.

  • Location: Ellesmere Port with hybrid location working considered, and with a requirement for travel throughout the Partnership area and beyond
  • Job Term: Three Year Fixed Term Contract with option to renew subject to funding
  • Hours: Part time: 25 hrs per week
  • Salary: Range £ 16,892  to £ 20,270 (for 25 hours per week)
